Wellington Terrace's Social Committee teamed up with the Centre Wellington Food Bank for a Back-to-School Initiative! Thanks to the generosity of staff, visitors, and families, we collected backpacks, lunch bags, school supplies, and snacks to help local children start the school year strong.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, organized, and made this possible, coming together to support families in our community. Special shoutout to those pictured: Tiffany Wurdell, Curt McQueen, Shannon Power Stevens, and Brandie Rodrigue. Hear from researchers with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the University of Guelph as they share findings from ongoing Living Lab – Ontario research examining the impact of windbreaks, riparian buffers, and woodlots on soil carbon, greenhouse gas emissions, crop yield, and the soil microbiome.
