You don't need to have all the answers to show someone you care.

On Drug Poisoning Awareness Day, simply showing up can be a meaningful way to listen, learn, mourn and stand with people affected by substance use and drug poisoning.

Join us Monday, August 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre in Orangeville. The event will include guest speakers, naloxone training, art activities, community resources, food and refreshments. Come for the full event or stay for what feels right.

Did you know that FASD is one of the leading neurodevelopmental disabilities in Canada? No known amount of alcohol is safe during pregnancy and FASD impacts an estimated 4% of the population. Carrying naloxone and knowing how to use it can help save a life.

Join us for naloxone training at the Drug Poisoning Awareness Day event. Naloxone kits will also be available at the event. No previous experience is needed.
