We’ve officially broken ground on the new Guelph Transit and Fleet Services Facility 🎉

This new facility will help improve transit reliability by giving us the space we need to maintain and support our growing fleet. It’s an important step in keeping our city moving and helping people get where they need to go.

With funding support from the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario, this project will help Guelph keep pace with growth and deliver better service for the community.

There’s a Planning Public Meeting and Decision Meeting coming up on June 9, starting at 2 p.m. We’re starting the meeting mid-afternoon because there’s lots of community interest in items on the agenda and we’re expecting lots of participation.

We know the meeting timing might not work for everyone, but there are ways to have your voice heard even if you can’t attend. If there’s an item on the meeting agenda (https://ow.ly/mai450Z5GKn) you want to speak to, you can submit written correspondence to the Clerk’s Office by 10 a.m. on June 5. The details on both submitting written correspondence and registering as a delegation are available at https://ow.ly/vP5950Z5GKq. If you’re attending the meeting, you are welcome to register as a delegate.

On June 9, starting at 2 p.m., the meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at Guelph City Hall, 1 Carden Street, Guelph, Ontario. This is a hybrid City Council meeting that can also be watched online at https://ow.ly/1rzJ50Z5GKo.
