Did you know? Each year, MODG gives a grant of $10,000 to Fanning Education Centre/Canso Academy, $10,000 to Chedabucto Education Centre/Guysborough Academy and $3500 to St. Mary's Education Centre/Academy to help support their breakfast programs.

Tonight, Council had the honour of recognizing Scarlett Madam and thanking her for generously sharing her artwork with MODG for display on our municipal website throughout September.

This is such a beautiful way for us to mark this important time of reflection and learning as we recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and we are incredibly grateful to Scarlett for sharing her work with us and our community.

At just 11 years old, Scarlett is sharing her creativity in a meaningful way and helping us recognize the importance of this time.
