Sunday August 2. @ 1:38 pm Reynolds fire dispatched to an EMS assist at Lafarge pits.

July 26 @ 4:07 pm Reynolds fire dispatched to a multiple vehicle collision on Hyw 1 east of Pr 308. Falcon EMS, RCMP, Towing also attended.

On July 22 and 23, five members participated in Flammable Liquid Response training at the CN Rail Campus and Derailment Training Center. We were joined by several departments from Piney, Tache, Springfield, Portage la Prairie, Winnipeg, Niverville and Manitoba Hydro.

We learned about different dangerous goods crossing our municipality by rail and the tank cars that carry them. We spent a full day on the Derailment Prop, learning different response and firefighting techniques.

Thank you to CN Rail and GFL for hosting and training us.

Back to back. Tuesday July 21 @ 12:11 pm Reynolds fire dispatched to a vehicle fire on Hyw 1, Tuesday July 21 @ 1:28 on their way back to the hall Reynolds fire dispatched to a mutual aid request from Whitemouth Fire for a Structure fire in the community of Rennie.

Further to this. Actual Fire trucks with lights and sirens whether coming from behind you or meeting head on pull safety to the shoulder on the right and give them room. If vehicles on a two lane highway are stopped please leave the left lane open or at least the left shoulder. I have personally been responding to an emergency on the TCH 1 where both lanes and both shoulders were completely blocked. We are responding to an emergency where seconds count. Don’t be the reason that someone in need is being denied those seconds because of your lack of knowledge of the Highway traffic act. Thanks and be safe.
