Last week our representative from NSSC joined other members of the NASAA Alert & Advisories Project Group at their annual in-person meeting in Toronto.

Project group members from the BC Securities Commission - BCSC Maine Office of Securities, Massachusetts Securities Division, Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, and North Carolina Secretary of State Securities Division met to develop new alerts on several topics, including Prediction Markets, Ramp and Dump Scams, Money Mules, Crypto Kiosks, Finfluencers, and In-person courier scams.

Outside of work hours the project group enjoyed all Toronto had to offer including, great food, a Toronto Blue Jays game, the CN Tower / Tour CN and warm weather.

Thank you to GetSmarter AboutMoney.ca for hosting our meetings and to all of Toronto for being so accommodating,

Keep an eye out for our new alerts on the NASAA website - nasaa.org - later this year.
