Something that has been heavy on our hearts at Adsum recently. You should be angry about the housing crisis, but please be angry in a direction that can actually lead to change.

Residents at The Sunflower participated in Orange Shirt Day programming earlier this month. At Adsum, we understand that we are all treaty people, and we recognize that acknowledgment is meaningless without action. We are committed to learning the Truth of our history, examining our personal biases, and taking action to promote and support healing. Not only on September 30th, but every day.

Our team at The 107 in Dartmouth 💕these lovely humans show up everyday to support and advocate for community members experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. By listening to community, they also identify gaps in what’s available and try, where possible, to bridge those areas of need whether it be seasonally appropriate clothing, an empty food cupboard, or a listening ear on a very bad day.
There are lots of programs underway at The 107. Here’s a little poster to help explain who does what.
