Curbside Give Away Weekend is coming up on June 6 and 7 in the Halifax Regional Municipality – rain or shine!

This is a great opportunity to reduce the amount of items ending up in the landfill, while allowing others the chance to find a special treasure to enjoy. Just leave your unwanted household items on the curb with a sign that says ‘FREE’.

Unclaimed items must be removed from the curb by dusk on Sunday. Consider donating unclaimed items to charitable organizations and place any garbage material out for collection on your regular collection day.

Don’t forget to share your experience on social media using the hashtag .
