In the last three months, 93.5% of participants who completed our One Step Closer program reported increases in their feelings of self-confidence and in their interpersonal skills. If you need a little help building up your life skills, your confidence, and finding some direction on where to go next, One Step Closer is here for you.

We like to say we provide many services to the few, but over the course of a year those "few" add up to almost 350 clients receiving support, training, resources, and encouragement from the reachAbility team. There is no cost to the clients to participate in our courses or one-on-one appointments thanks to the generous support of our funders, including the Province of Nova Scotia, the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia, and Nova Scotia Power.

PES, or Pre-Employment Support, is for anybody who isn't sure what to do next, what skills they can offer, and what resources they need before getting back to work. It's not a course, but one-on-one meetings where you'll get the individual support that you need to be set up for success.

Markus, our Pre-Employment Support Navigator, will meet with you to help get you work-ready, and find out where your career journey will take you next. As with all reachAbility services, there is no cost thanks to the support of the Province of Nova Scotia.

Mark your calendars! Our next Ready, Set, Success group begins on September 21st and runs until October 15th. This employment preparation program is designed for anyone over the age of 18 who is looking to get back into the workforce, or who is entering the workforce for the first time.
