A local champion for mental health, we support the resilience & well-being of people living with mental illness through social programs, information & advocacy. Vision: "Mentally healthy people in a healthy society"

The branch facilitates access to the resources available to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, and works to build resilience and support well-being of people living with mental illness through our social programs and initiatives. CMHA Halifax- Dartmouth is a diverse community working collaboratively to address stigma, the social determinants of health and mental health parity,

We strive to remember there is no "we and they". CMHA's Framework for Support informs our work. The goal has remained the same for 30 years to ensure that people live fulfilling lives in the community.

The Craig Gallery, Alderney is the backdrop for Mosaic for Mental Health, is an unprecedented and inclusive exhibition of art tiles that are displayed and sold in support of mental health awareness and mental health programming in the community.
