Intersession Hours!🚨⏰

Between summer and fall semesters (August 25-September 8) the library will be open for the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am-5pm
Saturday and Sunday: CLOSED

Exceptions:
Labour Day Weekend (September 5 - 7) we will be open 9am to 4pm.

Here’s how:
Step 1 - Visit smu.ca/library and scroll down to click on “University ID”
Step 2 - Fill out the ID card application
Step 3 - Upload your photo
Step 4 - Wait for your pickup email

Applying for your student ID early also means it will be ready for you once you get to campus which will make it easy to access services like the dining hall and the fitness centre! Apply NOW.

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing Event at Saint Mary’s University

Join us on the Saint Mary’s University campus to observe the partial solar eclipse on Wednesday, August 12!

Astronomy experts will have solar telescopes set up to safely view the sun during the eclipse and free eclipse glasses will be available (while supplies last). Do you have eclipse glasses from previous events? Bring them!

We’ll be easy to find on the lawn along Inglis Street beside the Burke Building. Please feel free to drop by!
