PMI Nova Scotia FIFA World Cup Spotlight – Meet Dashuai Sun!
As we count down to the FIFA World Cup 2026, we’re spotlighting members of our PMI Nova Scotia community and the countries they’ll be cheering for!
This week, meet Dashuai Sun, Senior Analyst at RBC Chief Data Office, originally from China and now proudly settled in Canada
🏆 World Cup spirit?
China qualified for the FIFA World Cup only once — back in 2002 — and while fans are still waiting for another appearance, Dashuai is proudly cheering for China 🇨🇳 as excitement builds for FIFA World Cup 2026. At the same time, Canada 🇨🇦 is making history as a host nation for the Men’s World Cup for the first time ever!

As we count down to the FIFA World Cup 2026, we’re spotlighting members of our PMI Nova Scotia community and the countries they’ll be cheering for!
This week, meet Mahbubur Rahman, President, PMI Nova Scotia Chapter, originally from Bangladesh and proudly cheering for Brazil and Canada
🏆 World Cup spirit?
Mahbubur will be supporting both Canada and Brazil — Canada as a host nation and competing in only its third FIFA World Cup appearance, hoping to continue building history on the world stage.
For Brazil, the connection runs deep — growing up in the 1990s and 2000s, Mahbubur watched Brazil’s golden generation capture two of their five FIFA World Cup titles and inspire football fans around the world.
