Hope Cottage Hope Cottage is a charitable organization whose mission is to provide meals to those who cannot afford to obtain these meals themselves.

We operate because of the generosity of our community and receive no government funding. Hope Cottage is a charitable organization feeding over 200 meals a day, Monday to Friday to people in Halifax. Commenting on our page is welcome and encouraged. To ensure everyone always feels safe on our page - Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, cultur

e, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. Insults or opinions about our followers or patrons, their personal business, their lived experiences and observations or their personal choices will not be tolerated. We do not accept any rants or posts containing complaints about policies we must follow in the operation of Hope Cottage. We are most welcoming of inquiries and are always looking for new volunteers.

🍎 Snack Donations Needed! 🥨
Hope Cottage is currently in need of individually packaged snacks to help support community members accessing our programs and services.
Items such as granola bars, crackers, fruit cups, applesauce, pudding cups, trail mix, and other easy grab-and-go snacks are always appreciated.
If you’d like to help, snack donations can be dropped off at Hope Cottage during regular hours. Every contribution helps ensure that our guests have access to nutritious food when they need it most.
