We are hiring a Natural Resources Innovation Intern for the Natural Resources Innovation Internship Project (NRII). In this role, you’ll work in small interdisciplinary teams to explore real-world challenges in Nova Scotia’s natural resources sector, applying innovation methods to develop practical outputs such as prototypes, tools, strategies or insight briefs, with support from mentors and sector experts.
Pay: $23.80/hour including 4% Vacation Pay
Hours: 35 hrs/week (In-Person)
Term: May – August 2026 (16-week paid internship)
What you’ll do:
-Work on real challenges in Nova Scotia’s natural resources sector
-Use innovation methods like research, system mapping and prototyping
-Collaborate with students from diverse disciplines
-Produce tangible outputs (tools, prototypes, strategies or insights)
