Today, HMCS St. John’s held a Change of Command ceremony onboard. Commander Jeffrey Anderson formally handed over command to Commander Kyle Aubrey, in a ceremony presided over by Commodore Jacob French, Commander of Canadian Fleet Atlantic (CANFLTLANT).

Please welcome Cdr Aubrey as he takes on this new role. We express our sincere appreciation to Cdr Anderson for his outstanding leadership and dedicated service.

Aujourd’hui, le NCSM St. John’s a tenu à son bord une cérémonie de passation de commandement. Lors de cette cérémonie présidée par le commodore Jacob French, commandant de la Flotte canadienne de l’Atlantique (FLTCANANT), le capitaine de frégate Jeffrey Anderson a officiellement remis le commandement au capitaine de frégate Kyle Aubrey.

Veuillez accueillir le Capf Aubrey dans ses nouvelles fonctions. Nous exprimons notre plus sincère gratitude au Capf Anderson pour son leadership exceptionnel et ses loyaux services.

Good Afternoon Families and Friends of HMCS St. John’s,

HMCS St. John’s is currently off the coast of Cape Breton and we are making our way towards Halifax Harbour.

The Halifax area will be experiencing a weather system known as an Alberta Clipper overnight and into tomorrow, with forecasted wind gusts of up to 40 knots at the scheduled return time. As a result, our alongside timing has been shifted to 1500 on 20 December 2025 at Jetty NF.

Le NCSM St. John`s est présentement près de la côte du Cap Breton et nous sommes en route vers le port d`Halifax.



Demain la région d`Halifax va subir un système climatique nommé l’Alberta Clipper cette nuit et demain, avec des vents prévus d’aller jusqu’à 40 nœuds à notre heure d’arrivée originelle. Notre arrivée a été remise pour 1500 heures le 20 Décembre 2025 à la jetée NF.
