Since 2006, I dabbled in the geotourism scene via a non-profit organization I spearheaded to take advantage of the growing use of technology with the outdoors. I focused heavily on partnerships with Provincial & National Parks by creating a number of geocaching (geotourism) programs across Canada which have been emulated and adapted by other groups. My background in community development, content
creation and training helped a lot. After six years of doing that, my interests evolved towards general outdoor topics and a focus on local craft beer (because you build up a thirst after a long day in the woods). Avoiding Chores Publishing was created in 2012 and is a registered small business in Nova Scotia as a content development & delivery operation. I focus on services relating to Content Development and Training and have worked with quite a few companies to help them enhance their programs or products. I'm a one man operation, I'm not an influencer blogger, I actually want to create sustainable content that is optimized for those who seek you out.
