Stack Stories

Stack Stories Over the years, a library's stories stack up. Share yours. You’re invited to come and honour the time you spent here by telling us your stories.

In 2014 the Spring Garden library is going to be leaving its home of 62 years and moving across the street to the new Halifax Central library. This is an exciting new chapter for the city but before we move in to the future, let’s talk about our memories. For the month of November, there will be a Speaker’s Corner-style audio recording booth in the library. We will select 16 stories to be added to

an online interactive archive and played at a public listening event in the new Halifax Central Library! Stackstories is a special project of Halifax Public Libraries in collaboration with media artist Veronica Simmonds, and with support from Arts Nova Scotia
