We had a wonderful time volunteering at the Honourable Geoff Regan’s Charity Hockey Game and Family Skate yesterday. The event supported Feed Nova Scotia, while also celebrating local hockey talent (on , nonetheless).

On January 14th, South Shore-St Margarets MP Bernadette Jordan was sworn in as the Minister of Rural Economic Development. This appointment is historic, making Bernadette the first Nova Scotian woman to hold a federal cabinet position!

Our very own Organization Officer, Anna-Maria Nasrallah, was fortunate enough to intern at Bernadette’s constituency office this past summer. Anna-Maria, as well as our entire team, are so proud of Bernadette’s deserving accomplishment! Congrats, Bernadette - you are making Nova Scotia proud! 🇨🇦❤️
