2347 Argyll Cadets is a free program for young men and women between the ages of 12 to 18 and is part of the largest and oldest youth organization in Canada. Our focus is on developing leadership skills, promoting sound citizenship and encouraging physical fitness and healthy lifestyles by providing the opportunity for young people to test their limits through the participation in challenging and

exciting outdoor adventure activities. Our affiliation with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada Regiment ensures that our programme is conducted within an atmosphere that is designed to stimulate interest in the heritage, customs and operational activities of the Canadian Armed Forces but also what it means to our community. It is not a military recruiting organization and there is no expectation of subsequent military service. Participation in 2347 Argyll Cadets counts towards High School community hours and is a great way to meet new people.

We’re so excited to welcome our cadets back from summer training and hear all about their experiences!

This summer, members of 2347 took part in a variety of incredible training opportunities, including:

* Introduction to Expedition
* Drill and Ceremonial
* Band – Pipes and Drums
* Leadership positions as Staff Cadets

Summer training is one of the most immersive experiences the Cadet Program has to offer, giving cadets the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills, take on leadership roles, and create lasting memories.

We’re incredibly proud of the hard work our cadets put in this summer, and we can’t wait to see them bring their new skills, experiences, and leadership back to the unit.

Ready for adventure? Looking to build confidence, learn new skills and make lifelong friends?

Join the 2347 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps!

Cadets ages 12–18 can experience field training, camping, marksmanship, survival skills, navigation, sports, fitness, leadership, community service, ceremonial events, pipes and drums—and much more.

The Army Cadet Program is free, and uniforms and regular training are provided at no cost.

Wednesdays from 6:15–9:15 p.m.
