🌟Nicole is a brilliant, ambitious, and accomplished young Ward 7 Athlete! She's strong in not one, not two, but THREE Special Olympics sports: Figure Skating ⛸️, Rhythmic Gymnastics 🤸, and Swimming🏊‍♀️!

Need more inspiration? This past August, Nicole attended the 2026 Special Olympics National Summer Games in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and came back with 1 bronze and 5 silver medals in Rhythmic Gymnastics! 🥉🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈On behalf of your Ward 7 neighbours: congratulations, !! You're a true champion.👏

Words cannot convey just how inspiring her determination and spirit are. Spending time with Nicole - and her incredibly proud mom - while presenting her with a certificate was truly one of the highlights of my week.💗

As a former small business owner, I remember well the excitement of a grand opening. I'm always honoured and proud to share in that excitement with new Ward 7 businesses, as I was privileged to do yesterday with Hamilton Mountain's Lifemark Physiotherapy location at 210 Mohawk Road East. , may you prosper and find joy in the restorative, life-enhancing services you offer our residents!

🥳Today, we enthusiastically recognize and celebrate Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) and childcare staff on the 26th annual Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Education Appreciation Day!🥳

🫶These dedicated professionals are pillars of the Hamilton community, providing high-quality care, nurturing young minds, supporting working families, and helping build a stronger, more connected community of belonging for generations to come. 🫶

🙏Thank you to all our childcare educators for the essential role you play in children’s growth and development and in the well-being of the Hamilton community. Municipal Election advance polling has ended.

If you wish to vote before October 26th, you can still visit City Hall for "Ballot on Demand" voting:
City Hall, 71 Main Street West, Room 192/193, October 19-23, 2026, 9 am to 4 pm
(A ballot on demand allows for citizens to vote at a site that is convenient to them, regardless of where they live in Hamilton. This system consists of an e-poll book and a printer, that enables a ballot from any of the City’s Wards to be printed for an elector on site once eligibility and identity is verified.)

On voting day, October 26th, here are the polling locations for Ward 7, any of which you can cast your vote as a Ward 7 resident from 10 am to 8 pm:
