Hamilton Child and Family Supports

Hamilton Child and Family Supports The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton has been serving children and families in the Hamilton community since 1894.

In partnership with families and our community, we’re committed to the safety, protection, and well-being of children and the strengthening of families, while valuing diversity and promoting equity. It is a not-for-profit organization that, by law, is required to protect children from physical, sexual and emotional abuse and neglect. The agency also helps to build healthy families and provides saf

e, nurturing environments for youngsters that cannot live at home both on a temporary and permanent basis. The Society is funded by the Ontario government to provide child protection services to its designated community, according to Ontario’s Child and Family Services Act [CFSA s. 72(1)].
