As the department awaits delivery of two new pumper trucks, check out this rig that is still in service in Nova Scotia with Sherbrooke & Area Volunteer Fire Department. It was purchased new by Clarington Fire in 1995 and replaced after about 10 years. It has even been repainted with trendy CFD colours. photo credit, Pumped And Wired Emergency Vehicles LTD.

Great news Clarington!!

The Clarington Professional Fire Fighters Association is having their charity car wash in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Durham and Northumberland this Saturday, September 12th from 10 AM – 2 PM at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex west parking lot (2440 Regional Highway 2, Bowmanville).

Hang onto those dirty trucks and mud-splattered sedans for just a few more days and come out, get your vehicle sparkling clean, and help support local mentorship programs that empower young people in our community.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Stay safe Clarington!
