Well folks here is the much anticipated calendar of events for the Pirates to Pilots Festival 2026 happening from Friday July 17 to Sunday July 26th.

So much happening and something for all ages. Be sure to mark your calendars. Also keep in mind in mind that more detailed daily calendars will be released closer to the specific dates, along with local restaurant specials and recognition of events sponsorship.

Join us for a Craft and Chat session at the Harbour Grace Library tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6th from 2:30pm-4:30pm. Bring along your project and enjoy some crafting time with others! This is an adult program. No registration required. 🎨

Join the Town of Harbour Grace and special guests as we celebrate the return of our much beloved Amelia Earhart statue on the 94th anniversary of aviator’s historic flight from our community. The event will take place at the Spirit of Harbour Grace Municipal Park, on Harvey Street, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Drop by to hear a special performance from our St. Francis School choir, meet an Earhart impersonator, and get a first glimpse of our refurbished statue, which has been carefully restored by the Newfoundland Bronze Foundry.

Snacks and refreshments provided by Earhart’s 50+ Club and Jess Brennan Bakes.

All are welcome! We’d love to see you there.

(The celebration will take place at alternate location in case of inclement weather. Stay tuned for updates.)
