Kent Harrison Arts Council (KHAC) The KHAC is a non-profit organization that operates the Ranger Station Art Gallery.

The Ranger Station Gallery, located in beautiful Harrison Hot Springs, is houses in the heritage building that is also home to the Harrison Festival of the Arts offices. The gallery is open from the beginning of February to the end of November and features a new show each month. Local and regional painters, sculptors, pottery and other artist are showcased in this elegant setting.

Come join us for an Artist Talk at the Ranger Station Art Gallery on Monday, April 6 from 2-3:30 PM!!!

Sidi Chen is a diasporic q***r artist whose practice addresses the intersectionality of the body, community space, and the land. For the creative process, Chen empathizes the body as a unit of measurement, a vessel of relationships, a repository of experience, and an instrument for creativity. Through his interdisciplinary research crossing arts to science and social movements, Chen's interested in how the embodied experience informs the relations and agencies of the bodies that are human, ecological, and planetary.

Chen received a Master of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design (Vancouver, 2023) and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Community Development with University of Victoria. Chen has diverse artistic achievements, including FLEET:Edmonds Artist Residency (Burnaby, 2025), BC Arts Council Scholarship (2025), and the LIVE Performance Biennale (Vancouver, 2025). Chen is currently living and working on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (Halkomelem) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Sníchim speaking peoples.
