Yarmouth Recreation provides recreation programming and services for the residents of both the Town of Yarmouth and the Municipality of Yarmouth. Yarmouth Recreation is given direction and recommendations from the Recreation Committee. Yarmouth Recreation continuously strives to improve the quality and condition of our facilities, to increase the availability of recreation and leisure programming

for area residents, and to ensure optimal customer service. The offices of Yarmouth Recreation are located at the Municipal Administration building in Hebron, in the lower level. Yarmouth Recreation is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and does not close at lunchtime.

Are you ready to take Halloween to the next level and become part of the spook-tacular action? We’re on the lookout for Scare Actor volunteers to make our Haunted Hike an experience no one will forget.

Join Our Team of Scare Actors for the Haunted Hike!
Event Date: Friday October 30th, 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Forchu River Trail (Hebron Recreation Complex)

What We’re Looking For:
Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for Halloween and all things spooky.
A flair for the dramatic, a wicked cackle, or a blood-curdling scream.
Willingness to don a scary costume and give our brave hikers the fright of their lives.

What You’ll Get:
An unforgettable experience of being part of our Halloween magic.
The opportunity to unleash your inner ghoul and scare people in the most fun and safe way.

WHAT A WAY TO END THE SUMMER! 🚜🚑🚒

Our Big Rig Petting Zoo was one BIG celebration of community, and we’re still smiling thinking about it! ❤️

From 10 AM to 3 PM, 984 community members came out to climb, explore, visit, and enjoy a completely FREE day of fun. Seeing families, kids, neighbours, and friends enjoying the event together was exactly what we hoped for.

With over:
400 hot dogs served 🌭
400 bags of chips generously donated by Y95 - CJLS
200 bottles of water handed out
5 hours of bouncy castles
SO many big rigs, smiles, and happy faces!🚜

But the real stars of the day were the incredible volunteers, partners, businesses, organizations, and big rig owners who gave their time, equipment, energy, and care to make this event happen.

Thank you for bringing your trucks, equipment, smiles, and enthusiasm. Thank you for spending your day with our community. Thank you for helping us create an event where families could come out, have a blast, and enjoy something completely free together.

This event was a true community effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we created together. ❤️

There’s something pretty special about ending the summer with 984 people coming together just to have fun.

From all of us at Yarmouth Recreation, THANK YOU! 🙌
