🏃‍♀️🌎 Happy Global Running Day! 🏃‍♂️🌎

Today, runners around the world are celebrating the joy of running—and what better time to start preparing for FAIM’s High River Half on September 12!

Whether you’re training for the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 2K Walk, or Kids Run, every step you take today is a step toward the finish line. You don’t have to be fast, and you don’t have to be experienced—you just have to start.

Did you know that running was the featured event at the very first Olympic Games in 776 BC? More than 2,700 years later, people are still coming together through the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other.

So lace up your shoes, grab a friend, and get moving today. Your future self will thank you on race day!

Yesterday marked 46 years of FAIM!

Since 1980, FAIM has been supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live, work, and thrive in the communities they call home. What began 46 years ago has grown into an organization that supports nearly 200 individuals across Okotoks, High River, Strathmore, and Airdrie.

To our clients, families, staff, volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters—thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we continue to build communities where everyone belongs.

Happy 46th Anniversary, FAIM! 💙

🌧️⛳ Mother Nature had other plans!

Due to the recent rain, the Chamber Charity Golf Tournament has been rescheduled to June 22.

FAIM is excited to be participating as a hole sponsor and will have a table set up where golfers can support FAIM by making a $10 donation and challenging a friend to a game of Connect 4 while they wait to tee off on the next hole.

Check out the details below (just the date has changed)—we’re looking forward to a fantastic day of golf, community, and fun! 💙🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️
