The Fundy Albert Public Library / Bibliothèque publique wants to hear from you! Complete the survey to let us know what kinds of programs and services you would like to see at your library.

The Fundy Albert Public library is conducting a survey to get the public's input on what programs and services they would like to see at the library in the future. Take the survey online through the link below or by scanning the QR code; physical copies can also be picked up at the library. All responses are anonymous.

Concerned about indoor air quality? New Brunswick residents — homeowners and tenants — can pick up a free radon test kit at any public library across the province.



💳 No library card or personal info required.
📚 NB Public Library Service is managing distribution.
🧪 RPC is supplying the kits and providing lab analysis and reporting.



Visit your nearest library and take the first step toward a healthier home.

💳 Aucune carte de bibliothèque requise.
📚 Le Service des bibliothèques publiques du N.-B. gère la distribution.
🧪 RPC fournit les trousses et assure l’analyse en laboratoire ainsi que la production des rapports.

Free radon test kits are now available at public libraries across New Brunswick.

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can enter homes through cracks in foundations and gaps around pipes. About one in four New Brunswick homes may have levels above Health Canada's guideline.

High radon exposure increases your risk of lung cancer, and since radon is invisible, odourless and tasteless, testing is the only way to know your home's level.

Testing is easy:

✅ Place the kit in your home and leave it undisturbed for at least 91 days.

✅ Return it to the library to be sent for analysis.

✅ Get your results in 4 to 6 weeks.

Babies in the Library will soon be starting at the Fundy Albert Public Library. This 5 week interactive program is for parent/guardians and their babies from 0-18m. Contact the library to register for the program.

Registration is now available for our next session of Babies in the Library starting on October 7th. The five week program of rhymes, fingerplays, songs and stories, is for babies 0-18m and their parents/guardian. You can drop off your bottles and cans at the Bottle Exchange at Cooke's Convenience (the second Irving in Hillsborough) and earmark them for the Hillsborough Library? It's an easy way to support your local library!
