Wanted to share this information from Nic at Mountain Music because it’s such a great resource for the youth who come out to our Jam Sessions 🎸

A big thank you to everyone who has been contributing to the Hinton Youth Centre Teen Jam fund. The money raised helps young musicians with instrument maintenance, accessories, practice room time and lessons.

So far, the fund can cover:

• 4 restrings, with new strings included
• 3 woodwind reeds
• 3 basic set ups
• 8 hours total of practice room rental
• 2 half hour lessons

If your youth takes part in Teen Jam, make sure they know this support is available to them.

Huge thanks to Nic and everyone who has donated and helped support young musicians in Hinton! 💙

Jam Session is back this Friday! 🎸🥁🎶

Come hang out at the Hinton Youth Centre on Friday, October 23 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for another Jam Session with Nicholas Poscente from Mountain Music.

You can come play, try out an instrument, learn something new, or just hang out and enjoy the music. No experience needed at all.

We’ll have instruments here to use, or feel free to bring your own.

Big thanks to Mountain Music for continuing to come out and make these nights happen for our youth! 🎶

We’ve got a bus booked and we’re taking youth ages 13 to 18 for a night out at the Haunted Forest!

The outing runs from 4 PM to 10 PM, with transportation provided.

Like all our Youth Centre outings, there’s no cost to attend! We do have limited spots on the bus, so registration is required.
