This week we checked in on our participants who were busy working with Jaqueline preparing a large Indian Taco catering order and applying the skills they learned through their training in a real work environment. Experiences like this help build confidence, teamwork, and workplace readiness.
PESP is partnering with Maskwacis Cafe to provide hands-on food service experience for participants who recently completed their Food Safety tickets. Participants are being mentored by Tandra Okeymow, owner and operator of Maskwacis Cafe, while gaining real-world experience in the food industry.
