The East Gwillimbury Public Library recently launched a Dry Goods Pantry at the Holland Landing Library Branch. Stop by to receive some dry goods. The next two dates are Wednesdays, June 3 and 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, located at 19513 Yonge Street, Holland Landing.

🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of the Holland Landing Food Pantry! 🎉

On this day in 2016, the HLFP opened its doors for the very first time. Since then, we’ve grown, adapted, renovated, launched new services, and supported our community through moments of challenge and moments of joy.

From transforming a program room into our official pantry space, to navigating the COVID‑19 pandemic, to receiving the 2021 Not‑For‑Profit Business of the Year Award, and launching our Dry Goods Pantry this year, every milestone has been powered by people.

To our dedicated volunteers, EGPL staff, community partners, and donors: thank you. Your commitment and compassion have made a decade of impact possible. Here’s to the next ten years (and more!) of supporting our community together. ❤️

Did you know the Library is a cooling centre? As we head into warmer weather, be sure to visit us during open hours to cool down in an air conditioned facility. We have three library branches you can visit, including the Queensville Branch located in the Health and Active Living Plaza that is open 7 days a week with extended hours.

The Holland Landing Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 from 10 am to 1:30 pm at the Holland Landing Community Centre, located at 19513 Yonge Street, Holland Landing. If you or someone you know requires this service, please let them know that they can access the Food Pantry.

Looking to donate to the Holland Landing Food Pantry or Dry Goods Pantry? You can drop off non-perishable food items at the Holland Landing, Mount Albert, or Queensville Branches during Library open hours. Check out this update from the Town on a short term closure of Yonge Street north of the Holland Landing Community Centre. The Library is open for regular hours, but exercise caution while travelling through this detour.

Yonge Street Construction Updates🚧

🔹Due to Hydro One crew availability, the planned closure of Queen Street has been temporarily postponed. Updates will be shared when work is scheduled to begin.

🔹Crews are pouring new curbs, and a short-term road closure is in place to expedite the work. Please follow the posted detours to access the Holland Landing Community Centre and East Gwillimbury Public Library. Access to all businesses will be maintained during work. The closure is expected to be lifted by mid-next week.

The Library is still open! From May 19 to May 26, there will be a slight change to the detour route to visit the Holland Landing Branch. Please view the map to see the updated access. Signage will be in place to guide travellers. We can’t wait to see you at our Holland Landing Branch!
