Our WorkBC office will be closed tomorrow, September 30, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We encourage our community to take time tomorrow to listen, learn, reflect, and honour the stories and experiences of Indigenous Peoples. Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and each of us has a role to play in building respectful relationships and a better future. We will reopen for regular hours on Thursday, October 1.

This Juneteenth, we honor those who fought to abolish slavery and continue our fight for freedom while celebrating the rich and diverse history of Black communities.

It is our collective fight that reminds us that there is no LGBTQ+ freedom without Black freedom. We’re not free until we’re ALL free.
