Please contact the office TODAY if your child needs a veggie dog instead of a regular hot dog on Sports Day. If you have already told the office that your child is vegetarian, they are already on the list to get a veggie hot dog.

Parents/Caregivers, please check your emails for two important messages about safety info from our District Superintendent and busing (forms are needed now for next year if you're moving or if you live outside of Silver Creek or west of Silver Creek).

In collaboration with our local RCMP, the Fraser-Cascade School District will be placing a ban on e-scooters on school property. Starting Monday, June 1st, students at Silver Creek Elementary will no longer be able to bring their e-scooters to school. Please see the letter with this post regarding the district policy. If you have any questions, please contact Principal Anita Swinford.

As of Monday, you can already sign up your children for our local FVRL - Hope Library's summer reading club. They also have a club for teens and adults.

Plus, they're doing a bunch of family events this summer. Please see the parent/caregiver email or contact the library directly for more info.

Next week, we will have a fire drill on June 1 and the grade 6 students will have an overnight camping trip from June 2-3. Permission forms needs to be in TODAY.
