UPDATED: June 1, 2026
We understand there have been questions and concerns regarding the ongoing road closure on 11th Street, and we’d like to provide an update on the work currently underway.
▪ The contractor is working to have the project completed by Wednesday, June 10.
▪ The water service tie-in has not yet been completed and is scheduled to occur this week. A planned water outage will be required, and affected residents will receive notification in advance.
▪ The road closure remains necessary because the existing water line is located on the opposite side of the road from the development, requiring a full trench across the roadway.
▪ Following the tie-in, the trench must be properly backfilled and compacted before the road can safely reopen.
▪ The posted detour route is currently the only vehicle access route in and out of the area.
We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as this critical infrastructure work is completed. Every effort is being made to reopen the road as soon as it is safe to do so.
