The Humboldt Fire Department is pleased to announce Justin Tarrant as our new Deputy Chief.

Justin has been a dedicated member of the Humboldt Fire Department for the past 6 years and has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to our department, our members, and the community we serve.

As Deputy Chief, Justin will play an important role in supporting our leadership team, helping guide department operations, and continuing to build on the training, teamwork, and professionalism that HFD is proud of.

We’re excited to see Justin take on this new responsibility and look forward leadership and dedication he will bring to the position.

ROAD CLOSURE EXTENDED:

Work on the watermain replacement at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 13th Street is progressing; however, the contractor will need one additional day to wrap up the project.

The road closure will now remain in place until the end of the day on Thursday, September 10.

On Thursday, September 3, 5th Avenue will be closed from 15th Street to 12th Street for a watermain replacement project. The work will take one day to complete.

Please note, 13th Street from 5th Avenue to 7th Avenue, 7th Avenue to 8th Avenue is also closed for the watermain replacement program and will remain closed for most of September.
