Thank you to the Province of Ontario for investing $24,805 through the Rural Ontario Development Program to support Middlesex Centre's Economic Development Strategy.

This funding will help us create a roadmap to guide future economic development efforts and identify opportunities for business growth and investment. We appreciate the Province's support and look forward to the opportunities and priorities that will emerge through this work.

Pleased to share that our government is investing $124,805 through the Rural Ontario Development program to support three local projects:

✅$50,000 for Adelaide Metcalfe’s Centre Road Employment Lands Readiness Studies
✅$50,000 for North Middlesex’s Communications & Wayfinding Strategy
✅$24,805 for Middlesex Centre’s Economic Development Strategy

These investments will help municipalities move forward with local priorities, support local residents, and create opportunities for economic growth.

Earlier this year, Middlesex Centre completed the rehabilitation of Bridge B-140 on Fourteen Mile Road. This project included bridge deck waterproofing, concrete repairs, and other improvements that are extending the life of the structure and keeping this important rural route safe and reliable for daily traffic.
Thank you to The Build Communities Strong Fund Community Stream in Ontario for funding this important infrastructure project.
Projects like this help preserve existing assets, improve safety for all road users, and ensure Middlesex Centre's transportation network continues to support residents, businesses, and the agricultural community for years to come.

Ag Awareness Day at the Ilderton Fair 🌾🚒

Yesterday, Middlesex Centre Fire Services welcomed 130 Grade 3 students from local schools and neighbouring municipalities to our fire safety booth at the Ilderton Fair for a fun and educational day. Big thanks to Ilderton Firefighters and Lindsay Dodge, our Public Fire Education Officer, for putting on such a great fire safety demonstration!

As a reminder, the Ilderton Fair presented by the Ilderton Agricultural Society takes place Friday, October 2, and runs until Sunday, October 4. See you at the fair!
