A Message to Our Community

Ingersoll Support Services and OPSEU/SEFPO Local 172 are pleased to share that an agreement has been reached, pending ratification. If ratification is successful, this will end the Work Stoppage.

Both parties remained focused on the continuity of care for supported individuals. We recognize the impact this has had on our community, and we are grateful for the patience and understanding shown to us throughout.

The path forward is one of reconciliation and renewed strength. Ingersoll Support Services is driven by a commitment to those we serve, and to the employees who make that care possible. As we return to full-service delivery, we do so with appreciation for a community that continues to stand with us.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Important PizzaFest Update

It is with great disappointment that, due to the current and worsening air quality, we have made the difficult decision to cancel PizzaFest scheduled for this evening.

The health and safety of our volunteers, vendors, performers, and everyone who planned to attend must always come first. While this is not the outcome any of us hoped for, we believe it is the right decision given the current conditions.

While PizzaFest has been cancelled, our Downtown Shopping Night is still an opportunity to show our community spirit. Many of our downtown businesses have invested time, inventory, and special promotions for this evening. If you are able to do so safely, we encourage you to visit our local shops and restaurants and support the businesses that make our downtown such a vibrant place. We will be sharing details of participating businesses and specials shortly.

Our pizza vendors have also worked hard and invested significantly in preparing for tonight. If you're looking for dinner, please consider supporting Pizza Hut, Tito's, Gino's Pizza, Little Caesars, or Domino's by ordering from them this evening.

Thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, downtown businesses, and everyone who was looking forward to celebrating with us. Your understanding and continued support of our local business community means more than ever.

Please stay safe, take care of one another, and we'll look forward to bringing our community together again soon. ❤️🍕
