My daughter and I loaded up all the bins yesterday! With help from my husband and one of our sons who loaded up the carts with everything we needed! We ended up with 48 Christmas Dinners! 🙂
*Please remember to be patient with the workers from No Frills. They are most likely going to be crazy busy and the dinner pick up is today as well, be kind!*

Below are the reasons I continue to do this each year! So many have a hard time asking for help! As of today we are at 45 families and are at the very bottom of the sponsor list. I couldn’t do this without each and every person who has donated to this cause in one way or another! If you would like to sponsor please let me know! Here are 3 families who reached out for a Christmas dinner.

“Good evening. I'm messaging you to ask for help with a Xmas dinner for my adult son and I. Been debating for a week+ about messaging you and realized tonite that there will be no Xmas dinner if I don't message you.”,
“My family is in need of some help this year. Im a single mom on assistance i have 2 kids. It's been extremely hard for us and i just want the kids to have some resemblance of normalcy this year. Unfortunately between a rent hike, and well as you know the cost of everything Christmas has become out of reach for me to do for the kids. If I could get help with just being able to make a Christmas dinner for them that would be huge help in giving them some part of Christmas.

This year has been the best one yet! We are at 39 families!
We have also received enough donations to be able to put a little something else in everyone’s hampers this season! Thank you to the Innisfail Festival of Trees and anyone else who donated. We have also helped a couple people out that are having a very tough time, and set a family up with some great folks that are going to help them more with Christmas this year!
This program has helped so many people with Christmas dinner and beyond! I wish I could help them all with more!

As of today we are at 33 families (approx 130 people) receiving all the groceries needed to make a wonderful Christmas dinner, it even includes desert! 🥧
I am over the moon with how many sponsors we have and can’t thank you enough! 💕
Some of these families have little to nothing and it took them a lot of courage to reach out! Some even spilled their stories to me, which I do not ask for any information. ⛄️
Christmas is supposed to be the greatest time of the year, but in reality, it is probably the most stressful for so many! ❄️
That being said, I will possibly be reaching out to everyone on the wait list to see if they would be interested in purchasing gift cards that we can add to the families baskets. 🎅🏻
If you are interested please let me know! This will help with whatever else they may need like everyday necessities. ❤️

As of this morning, I am now at 20 families who have reached out to me for a Christmas dinner! I feel this year is going to be a large number once again!
If you are interested in being a sponsor please let me know. All you do is go to no frills, when they are ready, and pay for the meal. It is approximately $70 give or take. The families will be in charge of picking it up. 🙂

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Pauls No Frills as well as Innisfail Festival of Trees. ❄️
They have donated hundreds of dollars to help families that are part of this program. Either donating meals or gift cards to the families who are larger or in more need than others. Thank you for all you have done!
