Sharing these photos today feels extra special because this is my beautiful daughter marrying her best friend on the weekend, surrounded by so much love, happiness, and the people who mean the most to them!

It was an indescribable feeling to create their ceremony, write their love story, and then stand with them as they made promises to each other that will shape the rest of their lives.

And somehow, after all the happy tears beforehand, I managed to hold myself together during the ceremony!

It was a magical day that will be treasured forever. ❤️

From the same friend group in high school to forever together 💍

They spent years crossing paths before finally going on their first date. What started as a simple lunch turned into prom dates, summer adventures, and a love that kept growing.

Years later, he planned a surprise lakeside weekend leading her on a hike to a breathtaking waterfall. With a ring in his pocket and a photographer secretly capturing the moment, he got down on one knee and asked the question that changed everything.

And just like that….their next chapter begins!

Every couple has a story … and this one is beautiful. 💕

Their Love Story begins in the hustle and bustle of high school. Soon their friendship turns into something more. On their 10th Anniversary she opens his gift, a tiny box holding a beautiful ring and the promise of forever!

Their ceremony was designed to reflect the journey that brought them together and the love they share.

Moments like these are why I love helping couples tell their story on their wedding day.

Who else wants to feel like this after their ceremony? It’s that “I just married my best friend” euphoria!

Their love story begins at University, where a study date turns into something more. Books are set aside, conversation flows and a beautiful connection begins. One date becomes two, and before long they’re inseparable. Then comes the biggest surprise of all - a romantic lakeside proposal at the cottage where she says yes to a lifetime together.

We planned a heartfelt ceremony that featured a meaningful reading by their Grandparents, their sweet dog walking down the aisle, and of course, the sharing of how their beautiful Love Story unfolded! It was a moment wrapped in love, laughter and that we just got married magic. 💕

What a beautiful and elegant wedding this sweet couple planned!

The view for their ceremony was so picturesque. I admired the scenery and captured a few photos before we started. Next we got their rings circulating for the ring warming and then I began the telling of their amazing, romantic and sometimes funny Love Story! I felt so incredibly honoured to be the one to get these two married! 💕

Every love story is one of a kind.

As a wedding officiant who crafts Love Story ceremonies, I’m continually inspired by the beautiful ways my couples find each other and fall in love. Every story reminds me why I do what I do.

This one began in high school, when he noticed his friend’s younger sister was something special. Years later, fate reunited them at neighbouring cottages, where friendship turned into love. He proposed at the same lakeside cottage, surrounded by candles, memories and loved ones — and she said yes, beginning the next chapter in their forever story. 💕
