These characters were inspired by winning designs created by Nunavummiut youth through last year's environmental superhero contest. Their message is simple: everyone can help care for their community.
Across Nunavut, communities are organizing local clean-up days to help keep neighbourhoods, shorelines, parks, and open spaces clean and welcoming. We encourage all Nunavummiut to join their local community clean-up and be part of the effort.
And remember, every day can be a clean-up day! Whether you participate in an organized event, pick up litter during a walk, or spend a few minutes cleaning up your favourite spot, every action helps.
A cleaner community is something we can all be proud of.
These youth-created superheroes are only the beginning. More community heroes will be revealed soon.
