Village of Irma Irma is a friendly, safe village of 521 people located 15 minutes west of Wainwright and 90 minutes east of Edmonton on highway 14.

Irma is supported by a strong economy with agriculture, oilfield activity and the Wainwright Military Base near by. With a K-12 school and excellent recreation facilities Irma offers a whole lot of living and is focused on "Looking to the Future"

The water main on Highway 881 has been completed. The contractor will be going door to door to advise everyone on the temporary water main that they will be switched to the new water main. Everyone should receive this message from the company doing this work.

LET YOUR WATER TAPS RUN TO FLUSH YOUR NEW LINE TO YOUR PROPERTY.

If you did not speak with anyone and you have no water, turn your water valve inside your home back on and you should have water. Let it run from the taps (in kitchen and bathrooms) for a minute or two to flush the lines.
