We’re out here listening to people’s views and taking in feedback on our working group’s draft concept of the next step to restoring traditional government in Kahnawà:ke.

We are starting the process of directly engaging with community members and organizations for your feedback and direction on the draft model of Interim Kahnawà:ke Governance that has been developed by our community working group.

If you’d like to take this opportunity to schedule a formal presentation or informal information session and discussion (or a series of sessions), please feel free to suggest a day and time that works for you and we’ll do our best to accommodate - we can provide drinks and snacks, or make it a lunch or dinner meeting and provide meals for your workplace team or family group as well.

The only time slots definitely not available at the moment are during these upcoming previously scheduled sessions:

Wednesday, May 20th, Morning (Mohawk Council of Kahnawake);

Thursday, May 21st, Evening (Mohawk Trail Longhouse); and

Thursday, May 28th, Morning (Tewatohnhi'saktha - Kahnawà:ke Economic Development).
