In the town of Blithe Hollow, Norman Babcock can speak to the dead, but no one other than his eccentric new friend believes his ability is real. One day, Norman's eccentric uncle tells him of a ritual he must perform to protect the town from a curse cast by a witch centuries ago

What to expect:

🎬 Lower sound levels
💡 Softened lighting
🚶 Freedom to move around or take breaks as needed
💚 A welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere
🎧 Limited sensory kits available to borrow

📆 Showtime:
Sunday, October 11 @ 2:00 PM

🎟️ Want to attend? Tickets are available for purchase directly at the Paramount Theatre box office!

The Sensory-Friendly Screenings are offered by the Kamloops Film Society (KFS) with the support from Canucks Autism Network (CAN) and Social Butterflies! Brought to you by BC Interior Community Foundation funding.

🧡 Social Butterflies is closed today, September 30, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry the impacts.

We encourage our community to take time today to listen, learn, and reflect.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

We will resume regular services tomorrow.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) announced upcoming changes to Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN) services in BC.

This session by FSI Executive Director Angela Clancy will offer a clear overview of the changes. Using a simple journey map, we will walk through how families currently access supports, what the proposed model is intended to look like, and—most importantly—what is known with certainty versus what remains unclear.

The goal of this session is to equip everyone with accurate information so they can feel more informed during a time of significant uncertainty and change. We will also share how FSI is advocating to ensure family voices are heard and that no child, youth, or family is left behind as these changes are implemented.

Join us on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 12:00 pm to hear more.
