Our mission is to improve the quality of life and health of children through the good works and fellowship of Kiwanis. The Kiwanis Club of Kamloops is a volunteer service organization. We independently organize and administer fundraising and community service activities. Kiwanians raise funds to help support essential social programs and services in support of youth and children in our community.
Members also donate their time providing volunteer services for the betterment of the community. Projects for young children and the elderly are our main focus. Members are invited to meet twice monthly to plan club projects and enjoy guest speakers and special events. Members are also encouraged to participate on the board of directors and on committees. The amount of time committed depends entirely on the individual. We are proud to support the ongoing efforts of the Norkam Key Club- a fully youth led community organization that is based on Kiwanis values and encourages youth volunteerism and community leadership. The Norkam Key Club is hosted at Norkam Secondary School and is the only such club in the interior of BC.
