To protect the health and safety of the Kaslo RCMP we will not be taking front counter reports. Our officers are still available 24/7 and we encourage everyone to call us or utilize the detachment phone at the front door. Our phone lines remain open at 250-353-2225. If it goes to voicemail follow the prompts and speak to an operator.
If you require a criminal record check we ask that you hold off for the time being.
We also ask that if you require police assistance and are feeling sick that you advise that when you call so officers can don the appropriate safety equipment.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Police on the lookout for impaired drivers

Impairment means more than just alcohol impairment – it also means impairment by illegal drugs or prescription medication. In BC, an average of 68 people are killed every year in collisions where alcohol, drugs or medications* were contributing factors.

"We want people to enjoy the summer but we also want people to make good decisions and choose to drive sober every time they get behind the wheel. If you do plan to drink alcohol or consume drugs of any kind, have a designated driver or plan alternate ways home."
