We are so grateful for all the people who have volunteered their time this summer to help the Mather-Walls Historical House.
Join us on September 12th from 10-12 to plant new flowers.
If you are a high school student in need of volunteer hours we are able to sign off on hours.

We have another wonderful story to tell about Ted Kennedy, and it is the perfect way to end our summer. In 1981, Dennis Balchin built an amazing replica model of the Mather Walls house. Sadly, an accident happened a few years ago and the house was damaged in several places. This past summer, Ted agreed to fix the house after his granddaughter noticed it in the attic on a tour. Not only did he repair the model, he added the stairs, the gravel path, and restored the exterior. This is a piece that will be treasured and we are so happy to see it back on display in the house. Thank you, Ted, for your time and service. What a wonderful gift.

Just an hour left until we close the door on a fantastic season. A very special shout out to our Tea Room and Touring Staff. This team did an amazing job and brought a lot of fun to the house. Stay tuned for a few pop up teas in the months ahead and warmest thanks to everyone who visited the Mather Walls House this summer.
