We’re excited to share that Piers is now offering Piers Community Pathways, a Community-Based Employment Services (CBES) program in Penticton!

Piers Community Pathways supports individuals facing barriers to employment through a holistic, person-centered approach focused on building confidence, stability, skills, and community connection. Services may include:

• Outreach and individualized support
• Employment readiness and foundational skill development
• Peer support and mentorship
• Work experience, volunteering, and self-employment exploration
• Connections to community resources and wraparound supports

At Piers, we know that meaningful employment journeys look different for everyone. Piers Community Pathways is designed to meet participants where they are at and support movement toward personal, wellness, and employment goals at their own pace.

We are grateful to collaborate with community partners throughout the South Okanagan and look forward to supporting individuals in building on their strengths and creating new opportunities.

We’re excited to share that Piers has received approval for a new project in partnership with Western Community College to support individuals pursuing their Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma.

This year, the project will support 30 participants across two cohorts:
Okanagan
Kootenays

The program includes training, embedded practicums, and wraparound employment supports to help participants successfully complete their diploma and transition into the workforce — strengthening early learning and childcare capacity in our communities.
