Great connecting at our WorkBC Kelowna Job Fair!

We welcomed approximately 45–50 attendees with 2 employer partners on site, the event led to 2 on-the-spot interviews and several new registrations for WorkBC services—fantastic outcomes all around!

Events like these highlight the power of bringing job seekers and employers together in real time. We’re grateful to our employer partners for their participation and to everyone who joined us.

Being part of someone’s path toward their career goals is what it’s all about!

Assumptions about absenteeism, performance, and accommodation costs often do not reflect the realities of employing people with disabilities.

The facts show that employees with disabilities perform at comparable levels to their peers, and with WorkBC’s support, accommodation costs for employers are often minimal or non-existent.
