For youth 9 -14 years old who love variety, the XploreSportZ Camp offers a full-day experience filled with games, sports and group activities. Participants have the opportunity to try different sports, build teamwork skills and stay active throughout the day.

These camps are designed to support physical development, social connection and confidence-building, all while keeping kids moving and engaged over the summer months.

Looking for a fun and engaging way for your little one to spend time this summer?

Our Playschool Camps (ages 3–5) are designed for early learners to explore, create and play in a supportive environment. Each camp includes stories, art activities, indoor and outdoor games, and plenty of active play to help build confidence, creativity and social skills.

Spots are still available in select camps at locations across Kelowna, including Cedar Creek Community Hall and Parkinson Recreation Centre. Many sessions are already full, and remaining spaces are limited.

With small group sizes and experienced instructors, these camps are a great way to introduce little ones to structured programs while keeping things fun and engaging.

Let the summer fun begin! 🌞 Register today to secure your spot at rec.kelowna.ca

The Community Care program provides peer-supported work for people experiencing homelessness, helping build confidence, create meaningful connections and offer a sense of purpose, while contributing to a cleaner, safer city.

With more than 100 participants involved and hundreds of hours of work completed, crews have removed large amounts of litter and debris from local streets, making a visible impact across the community while gaining valuable work experience.

Expanding this program in Rutland from 3 days to 5 days until the end of the year, means more opportunities for people to reconnect with community, develop skills and move forward, while continuing to improve the neighbourhoods we all share.
