We are offering Kelowna customers that book at least one week in advance our $300 annual service for $245 until March 15. After that our 2026 rates will come into effect. I am reaching out to any home owners that live in the fire interface zone. I want to take the opportunity to introduce you to the new hydronic division of Terra Geo. Terry and I have developed a specialty in the water to water heat pump to radiant distribution niche. That niche of designing and building copper infrastructure is something we do enjoy.

Recently, my core understanding of the changes in global climate have re-oriented my passion of trying to move folks from gas heating to electric heating (geo heat pumps) to an understanding of the climate change reality.

I no longer believe that we are in the prevention phase of green house gas emissions but are now in the mitigation phase. As a result of my new outlook on the world I have found a repurpose of our experience, tools and trade. We are changing our focus to wildfire protection systems for our residential customers. We strongly believe that protecting your home from wild fire is a much better offering than preventing wild fire by lessening our dependence on fossil fuels as society has proven over the last two decades that it is not willing nor able to do so.

We are offering a simple roof top sprinkler system that is proven to prevent structure loss in a wild fire. Full roof coverage and a 3 meter overspray creates a humidity bubble around your home that prevents ignition from heat, embers and direct flame.

Our Red Leaf wildfire protection systems are simple, maintenance free and can be turned on manually or remotely with your telephone or computer.

We do have our first system dry installed at Big White to understand how our mounting system will stand up to ice and snow. We are using leak proof brackets that evolved in the solar panel industry.
