A few spots are still available for our Awesome Adventures PD Day Camp on Monday, June 8!

Children ages 6–11 can join us for a fun day of arts, games, sports, swimming, and more at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre.

Regular Camp: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $40
Extended Hours Option: 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. for an additional $15

Registration for Baby Bloom and BYOBaby Fitness opens Thursday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m.!

Final class information is now available for both new baby-friendly programs coming to the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre this June.

Baby Bloom is for babies approximately 4 months to non-walking attending with their parent. This class is best suited for babies with decent head and neck control who are building early movement skills. Families can expect an immersive and active parent-and-baby session with music, movement, sensory play, and parent participation.

June 12 to June 26, 2026
$10/class for parent and baby pair

BYOBaby Fitness is for moms with babies approximately 6 weeks to non-walking. Moms must have medical clearance to resume exercise, typically around 6 to 8 weeks postpartum. This class is a low-impact, beginner-friendly workout with modifications available, and workouts will progress in difficulty as strength improves.

For both classes, registration should be completed through the attending adult’s account. To support space in the room, each registration includes one adult and one baby.

Free Pop-Punk Spin Class sponsored by Corrections Ontario – Kenora Jail!

Women interested in a career in corrections or law enforcement are invited to join us for a free high-energy spin class with Kira Onysko on Thursday, June 11 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about career opportunities with Corrections Ontario – Kenora Jail before diving into a fun, energizing spin class featuring the nostalgia of early 2000s pop-punk and alternative rock.

This class blends the burn of cycling with music from Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Taking Back Sunday, and more while pushing your limits and leaving every ride energized and empowered.

Registration opens Wednesday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m. online or in person at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre Front Reception Desk.

Baby Bloom and BYOBaby Fitness are coming to the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre!

Join instructor Kira Onysko for two new baby-friendly programs designed to support connection, movement, development, and community.

Baby Bloom is a playful and nurturing class for babies with their parent(s), focused on sensory exploration, early development, music, movement, and bonding time.

BYOBaby Fitness is a gentle, supportive workout designed for moms with their babies, focused on rebuilding strength, improving posture, supporting core function, and creating space for self-care and connection.

Morning Meltdown 2.0 | Extended Through June

Morning Meltdown has been extended through June with Morning Meltdown 2.0.

This extended session includes 5 Monday morning classes from May 25 to June 22 at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre.

This class is a great option for anyone looking to start the week with a morning workout focused on energy, movement, cardio, and strength.

Registration is now available.

Non-members can register online for the full 5-class extension block. Members, single-class registrations, and drop-ins can be handled through the Rec Centre front desk, either in person or over the phone.
